You are welcome here. No matter where you've been or what you've done, there is a place for you at Step One.
Since 1978, Step One has been a home for people seeking freedom from addiction. We are the oldest Narcotics Anonymous group in Tarrant County, and for 48 years we have kept our doors open — every single day — for anyone who needs help.
We are a strong group of men and women of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. What brings us together is simple: we were losing the battle with drugs, and we found a new way to live. NA is a nonprofit fellowship of people for whom drugs had become a major problem. We meet regularly to help each other stay clean.
Step One isn't just a meeting — it's a family. You'll feel it the moment you walk through the door. We celebrate together, support each other through hard times, and share a bond that only people in recovery can understand.
You are not alone. You never have to be alone again.

Walking through the door for the first time takes courage. We know — every single one of us did it once. Here's what you need to know.
Only you can answer that question. But if drugs are causing problems in your life — if you've tried to stop and couldn't — you might be in the right place. There's no shame in that. Addiction is a disease, not a moral failing.
"We found that we were sick people, not bad people."
You'll find a room full of regular people who understand exactly what you're going through. Meetings last about an hour. People share their experiences honestly. Nobody will force you to do anything. Just come as you are.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using. That's it. You don't need to have hit "rock bottom." You don't need to have lost everything. You just need to want something different.
"You never have to use again."
Recovery doesn't happen alone — and there are incredible resources to help along the way.
